Denise Dethlefsen is from an artistically inclined family with multiple talents. However, until receiving an SLR camera as a gift in 2001, she had not found a way to express her own creativity.

It's been a challenge to learn the concepts behind f-stops, proper exposure and artistic composition. She continues to learn the art and craft of photography, and hopes that her expressions as seen through the cameras lens are appealing to those who view them.
